This time, we are introducing the "Spring Rose Fair 2024" being held in Kurume City.
Lots of fun! Ishibashi Cultural Center "Spring Rose Fair 2024" (Kurume City)
The annual Ishibashi Cultural Center Spring Rose Fair will be held from Saturday, April 27th to Sunday, May 26th, 2024 from 10:00 to 17:00 (until 21:00 on days when the gardens are lit up) (the center is closed on Mondays, but the gardens are open every day).
This year's Rose Fair will feature the largest food area ever at the annual Marche, as well as a new, limited-time "Kids Park", so in addition to the beauty of the roses, there will be plenty of other fun things to see!
A total of 2,600 roses of 400 varieties bloom in four areas!
There are four rose gardens: the "Museum Rose Garden" with 18 varieties popular in French gardens, the "Fragrant Rose Garden" with varieties with particularly strong fragrances, the "Celebrity Rose Garden" with roses named after famous people, and the "Water Lilies and Rose Garden." During the period, 2,600 roses of 400 varieties will be in full bloom, competing with each other to bloom (you can check the rose blooming situation on the website).
The Marche will feature its largest food area ever
Around Rakusuitei, in the square on the south side of the library, a "marche" with food and handmade shops will be set up. This year, the food area will be the largest ever!

The upcoming events will be held on May 11th (Sat), 12th (Sun), 18th (Sat), 19th (Sun), 25th (Sat), and 26th (Sun) from 10:00 to 16:00. *In the event of rain, the event may be canceled. Also, the participating groups and dates may be subject to change.
Rakusuitei Rose Soft Serve, which sells 500 bottles a day, will be on sale all days of the week.

From Friday, May 10th to Sunday, May 12th, and also from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th, the Rose Garden in front of the Museum and other areas will be lit up as part of the "Night Rose Garden" event.

"Kids Park" opens for a limited time at "Ikoi no Mori"
A kids' park for parents and children to enjoy called "Kids Park in Ikoi no Mori x Art Bridge" will be available for a limited time! In the "Ikoi no Mori" area of the park, you can enjoy air play equipment, mini games, gourmet food and drink corners, and more. *Cancelled in case of rain
Additionally, the bridge will be decorated with illustrated illustrations as a collaborative project with creator Pantobisco.
The upcoming events will be held on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th from 10:00 to 16:00.

The super rare variety "Cameo" makes its debut
Don't forget to check out the rare varieties that you can only find here. The new variety "Cameo," which has a refreshing, sweet, and strong fragrance, is making its first appearance in the Rose Garden in front of the Museum.

In addition, there will be a variety of other events, such as the "Museum Garden Concert," where you can enjoy live music in the rose garden, the "Forest Stage," where you can relax and enjoy music in a natural setting, and "Workshops and arrangement lessons by artists, creators, and local florists" (advance reservations required, participation fees apply).
