[2024 Golden Week Fukuoka Event] Hakata Station Square "Kids Fes 2024 in JR Hakata City" (5/5)

Introducing information about noteworthy events in Fukuoka this Golden Week!

This time, we will be holding the Kids Fes in front of JR Hakata Station, which was a huge success last year.

[Sunday, May 5, 2024 (National Holiday)] "Kids Fes 2024 in JR Hakata City" (Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City) will be held in the JR Hakata Station Square!

On Children's Day, May 5th (Sunday, national holiday), the "Kids Fes 2024 in JR Hakata City," a "festival where children are the main focus," will be held in the square in front of JR Hakata Station.

Admission is free. It's a day filled with smiles from adults as well as the sight of energetic children.

A wide range of workshop booths where you can try out all sorts of different experiences!

There will be booths from various companies at the venue, each with their own unique workshops that you won't want to miss.

The most popular activity is the firefighter experience, where you can wear a fire suit made from the same material as real firefighters and have your photo taken in front of a fire engine.

・Make a fan with calligraphy

There are so many fascinating activities that even adults will want to try. Many of them can be completed in a short amount of time, so you'll want to complete them all!

All registrations are accepted on the day, and participation is generally free (with some exceptions).

A lively performance by children

Children who belong to dance, Japanese drums, brass bands, and choirs will perform on stage the results of their practice for this day.

A total of 10 groups will be performing, starting with the Shime Minami Elementary School Brass Band, followed by the Fukuoka City Boys and Girls Choir, Seiha Dance Academy, Hakata Hankyu Cheer Dance, Itoshima Nijo Kizuna Taiko, Cheerleading Team Barneys, Imajuku Genyo Children's Taiko, Genki Drum, HULA MAHALO, and Hirao Taiko.

Pokémon appear on stage

This year, Pikachu and Swinub from Pokémon Center Fukuoka will be visiting the venue!

*Scheduled for 12:00-12:15 and 16:00-16:15
