Experience report! "D'FESTA" - the first K-POP festival to hit Fukuoka (Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
Korean culture has now become completely integrated into Japanese life, with K-POP being especially popular.
This time, we will be reporting on the highly anticipated Kyushu event "D'FESTA FUKUOKA" (2 pages in total).
*As a special part of this interview (pre-viewing), we were able to photograph areas that are normally off-limits.
The super luxurious K-POP festival has finally arrived in Fukuoka! "D'FESTA FUKUOKA" will be held at "BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA" (Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
"D'FESTA" is a festival where visitors can participate. Photos and videos of 69 members of 9 K-POP artists (ENHYPEN, TXT, STRAY KIDS, NCT DREAM, NCT 127, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, BTS, NU'EST) will be featured as original content!
The event will run until Sunday, March 10, 2024. It will be held in the 6th floor event hall of "BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA". Admission is 2,900 yen on weekdays, 3,400 yen on weekends and holidays, and all days will have designated dates and times (priority).
Previously held in Tokyo and Osaka, "D'FESTA" was a hot topic as it was "an extravagant K-POP festival like nothing you've ever experienced before," and the Fukuoka venue has been bustling with fans since the first day♪
A total of 69 artists welcomed visitors at the entrance to the venue.
Those who purchase an admission ticket will receive an original card holder and sticker, as well as a ticket card for one of the nine groups (69 people). This will be random, so it will be a surprise who you get.
Enter the world of "D'FESTA"!
Upon entering, you will first see a large exhibition with handwritten messages from each member. The 69 messages lined up in a row are a sight to behold! *Normally photography is not permitted.
There are limited areas in the venue where photography is permitted, so be sure to take good care of the exhibits in areas where photography is not permitted.
The mirrored booth displays 480 photos, including unpublished ones
The "MEMORY ROOM" has a mirrored floor, and photos are reflected on the floor, creating a mysterious space. This is an updated content from the Fukuoka venue! *Normally, photography is not permitted.
You can enjoy the 480 photographs on display, including some that have never been published before, from head to toe (due to the specifications of the venue, your feet may be reflected in the photo).
A large projector and 5.1 channel sound create a realistic stage experience
"THE MOVIE" allows you to experience original stage footage (approximately 45 minutes) shot with XR technology using a large projector and 5.1 channel sound, while "VIRTUAL STAGE" is an immersive media art that has been updated from the Fukuoka venue.
You can also enjoy the behind-the-scenes footage of the stage performance, which was also added from the Fukuoka venue. *Normally, photography is not permitted.
In particular, the large projector and sound in "THE MOVIE" make you feel as if you are experiencing a live performance right in front of you! *Photography is not usually permitted.
Photography is allowed! Autographs and "off-shot" exhibition area
This booth, which has a large logo with the artist's signature, is an area where you can take photos.
On display are tables that recreate the process of creating the illustrated diaries that each participant wrote specifically for this event, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of the process.
In addition, there was "THE MESSAGE TO ARTIST" where you could write a message to the artist on the wall (photography is not usually allowed), and colorful canvases painted by artists for this event. Everywhere you looked, there was K-POP! It was an event full of highlights ♪
