The three items we have carefully selected this time are all the latest souvenirs that were released in 2023. They are individually wrapped and have a long shelf life, so they are also recommended as souvenirs to give to others.

1: Chibo Okonomiyaki Senbei

The first thing we would like to introduce is "Senbo Okonomiyaki Flavored Senbei" (2 pieces x 6 bags, 810 yen), which has been on sale since November 2023.

It's a collaboration between Senbo, a popular okonomiyaki specialty store in Osaka, and Yamaguchi Aburaya Fukutaro, the manufacturer and seller of the classic Fukuoka souvenir, Menbei!

The sauce is made with Chibo's original blend of vegetables and fruits, with an exquisite balance of sweetness and sourness, and also contains cabbage, squid, octopus, green laver, and pickled ginger. It also contains Spicy Fish Eggs, a proud ingredient of Yamaguchi Aburaya Fukutaro, and the taste will make you feel like you're eating a real okonomiyaki the moment you bite into it.

It has a slightly spicy taste, so it's perfect as a souvenir for people who don't like sweet things ♡ Another great thing about it is that it has a shelf life of about 180 days (※The estimated number of days after purchase).

2: Osaka Pickled Ginger Cheese Parfait

Next up is the "Osaka Pickled Ginger Cheese Pari" (8 pieces for 842 yen, 16 pieces for 1,663 yen), which uses pickled ginger, known as Osaka's soul food.

This product is produced by Jukajuan Co., Ltd., which offers a wide range of local sweets, and has been on sale since October 2023.

A cheese cream made with two types of cheese, cheddar and camembert, is sandwiched between pickled ginger flavoured rice crackers. The salty taste of the cheese brings out the spicy flavour of the pickled ginger.

The shelf life is about 120 days (※This is an approximate number of days after purchase). This is also a non-sweet snack, so it goes great with alcohol!

3: Osaka cha cha cha

The last item on our list is "Osaka Chau Chau Cha" (2 sachets for 378 yen), a set of 6 flavored teas that are based on classic Osaka puns. The illustration of a "Chow Chow" is cute ♡

Midori Seika, a long-established confectionery manufacturer in Osaka, will begin selling this product in November 2023 as a "small gift that conveys gratitude and feelings with a smile." It is filled with Osaka humor and deliciousness.

The point of these sweets is that they are filled with "puns that you can't explain" that will bring a smile to the face of the person you give them to! Each of the six types has a different pun and flavor, so it's hard to decide which one to get. This time, we've chosen two that caught our eye.

This "Mixed Berry Tea" will make you say, "Thank you berry match!" in an instant. It's a sweet and sour berry tea made from a blend of mixed berries and Oriental Beauty tea. It has a beautiful reddish color and a refreshing taste that goes well with sweets.

This "Spicy Chai" is a spicy chai with the scent of sweet osmanthus that is "great taste!" The spicy taste of ginger and cinnamon and the gentle scent of sweet osmanthus will help you change your mood.
