The biggest event in Kyushu! A spectacular view from 60 meters above ground at "ACROS Fukuoka Illumination" (Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Hello! I'm Naru from STAYHOLIDAY, who loves touring hotels and going out in Fukuoka, as well as Korea.

This time, we will introduce the "ACROS Fukuoka Illumination - Forest of Hikari" which started on November 17, 2023.

Full of sparkling spots! Kyushu's largest illumination event "ACROS Fukuoka Illumination - Hikari no Mori" (Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

The "ACROS Fukuoka Illumination: Forest of Light" is being held at the Step Garden of the "ACROS Fukuoka" complex in Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City until Sunday, February 4, 2024.

The hours are 18:00-22:00. The fee is 1,500 yen for adults and 800 yen for children.

Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the venue (same-day tickets on sale from 5:30 p.m.), online, and at convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart, 7-Eleven).

To be honest, I was wondering what it would be like, but when I got there I was surprised! The illuminations were quite impressive!

After entering, you will go up the Step Garden (the exterior stairs along ACROS).

There are tunnels of light here and there, each one a different color.

Various animals and dinosaurs appear on the stairs.

It feels like a mini zoo, wondering what's next.

The zoo seems to be divided into various zones, and when we reached the Arctic area we were greeted by penguins.

The flamingo area has colorfully lit steps. It's fun to climb up them and take photos in flamingo poses.

Head to the central rooftop area 60 meters above ground!

After climbing the stairs like this, you will soon arrive at the central area of the rooftop.

You can enjoy the night cityscape of Tenjin from a height of 60 meters above ground!

In the period leading up to Christmas, the illuminations at the prefectural Tenjin Central Park can be seen from above and are very beautiful.

It's amazing to be able to see my favorite, Hakata Port Tower, from this height!

Perhaps to enjoy the night view, the rooftop had a calm atmosphere, in stark contrast to the illuminations on the stairs.

The highlight is the Aurora Vision on the 4th floor

After enjoying our time on the rooftop, we headed to the 4th floor to see the Aurora Vision. Actually, I had caught a glimpse of it when we went up to the rooftop, and it had been bothering me.

There is a trick to it, so be sure to go and experience it to see what happens!

The hint is the red glowing "drum." Look forward to it.

There are lots of dinosaurs on the stairs going down. My favorite was the skeleton dinosaur. Why not take a photo with your favorite dinosaur?

There were so many photogenic spots that I kept taking photos the whole time.

It's sure to be a hit with your children, but it's also great for friends or on a date.
