This time, we will be visiting Ooto Sakura Kaido Roadside Station, where the lighting ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

The lighting ceremony for 2023 will be on November 25th! Illuminations at "Ooto Sakura Kaido Roadside Station"

Ooto Sakura Kaido Roadside Station is one of the largest roadside stations in western Japan.

At this time every year, a spectacular illumination event using approximately 650,000 light bulbs is held here, which can be said to be a seasonal winter feature in Otomo Town, Tagawa County!

The theme of the illuminations changes every year, and the details are kept a secret until the lighting ceremony.

The 2023 lighting ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, November 25th. After the illuminations are all lit up at once, fireworks are scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.

After the lighting ceremony, the statue will be lit up from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm until the end of January 2024.

There is also a free parking lot that can accommodate approximately 700 cars, making it convenient for those traveling by car.
