[2023 Latest] Illumination ceremony on November 11th! Giant Christmas tree at Elgala Passage Square in Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin

We are currently introducing illuminations from all over Fukuoka Prefecture.

This time, we will be introducing the Christmas tree at Elgala Passage Square in Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin Store, which will have its lighting ceremony held tomorrow, Saturday, November 11, 2023.

A large Christmas tree will be on display at Elgala Passage Square at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin Store from Saturday, November 11th to Monday, December 25th, 2023.

This year's theme is "CIRCULATION."

The decorations and ornaments are made from upcycled plastics such as PET bottle caps that have washed up on shore and waste from factories.

Apparently some of the ornaments are reused from the 2022 "White Bless Christmas" ornaments.

On the first day of the lighting, Saturday, November 11, 2023, there will be a stage event from 1pm and a lighting ceremony hosted by Nakajima Koji from 6pm.

After that, it will be lit up every day from 10:00 to 23:00. *On December 25th, it will be lit up until 21:00.

There's also a "flower pot" photo spot!

In front of the main tree, there is a flower pot photo spot.

"Flower pots" made from discarded plastic and marine plastic waste collected from all over the country form a large circle that represents the theme of the Christmas tree, "Circulation."

By the way, from 11:00 to 16:00 on Friday, December 23rd and Saturday, December 24th, 2023, the first 100 people each day will receive a flower pot.

Those who follow the Precious Plastic Kyushu Instagram account and take part in a simple quiz on the spot will be eligible to win the prize.
