[2023 Latest] Starting November 6th! "Fukuoka Christmas Market" in front of JR Hakata Station

We are currently introducing illuminations from all over Fukuoka Prefecture.

This time, we will be introducing "Shibata Sangyo presents CHRISTMAS MARKET in Hikari no Machi HAKATA," which will begin tomorrow, Monday, November 6, 2023, in the square in front of JR Hakata Station.

Starting November 6, 2023! JR Hakata Station Square "Shibata Sangyo presents CHRISTMAS MARKET in Hikari no Machi HAKATA"

This year's "Shibata Sangyo presents CHRISTMAS MARKET in Hikari no Machi HAKATA" will be held from Monday, November 6th to Monday, December 25th, 2023. The opening hours are 16:45-23:00 on weekdays and 12:00-23:00 on weekends and holidays.

Approximately 120 stores will be appearing at all "Christmas Advent" venues!

In addition to the JR Hakata Station Square we are introducing this time, the "Christmas Advent" event (Fukuoka Christmas Market) will be held at the Fukuoka City Hall West Side Community Square (from November 17th), Prefectural Tenjin Central Park (from November 16th), the Former Fukuoka Prefectural Public Hall Guest House (from November 22nd), and Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City Square (from November 21st).

A total of approximately 120 stores will be set up across all the venues! In addition to the classic mulled wine, popular hot chocolate, and delicious food, there will be a row of shops selling cute, authentic Christmas goods that will give you a taste of the European atmosphere.

And of course, don't forget to check out the original mugs, a must-have when it comes to the Fukuoka Christmas Market! You can get the design in the top left of the image below at the JR Hakata Station Square.

By the way, for the past 10 years, the general term for the events at each venue, as well as the illuminations in the Nakasu area and photo spots such as Fukuoka Airport, was "Fukuoka Christmas Market," but starting this year, that general term has changed to "Christmas Advent."

The logo has been revamped with the hope that "May those who visit Fukuoka be filled with love, illuminated with hope and light, and that everyone in the city will have a good year and spend peaceful days." The red represents love, the yellow represents hope, and the green represents peace and eternal life.
