This time, we will introduce 4 spots in Fukuoka and Saga where you can interact with animals, selected from those that have been introduced on ARNE so far. Why not take a little trip and go meet cute animals such as goats, horses, rabbits, and guinea pigs?

Nokonoshima Island Park in Nokonoshima, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City

Nokonoshima Island Park is a natural park covering approximately 150,000 square meters in the northern part of Nokonoshima.

From Meinohama Ferry Terminal, take a ferry for about 10 minutes (230 yen for adults, 120 yen for children, one way), then take the Nishitetsu bus bound for Island Park from Nokonoshima Ferry Terminal, and you'll arrive in about 15 minutes (240 yen for adults, 120 yen for children, one way). Get excited even before you arrive on this extraordinary boat trip!

Admission fees are 1,200 yen for adults (high school students and above), 600 yen for children (elementary and junior high school students), and 400 yen for infants (3 years old and above).

The garden is filled with seasonal flowers that bloom throughout the year, including rape blossoms (late February to mid-April), cherry blossoms (late March to early April), Livingstone daisies (late March to early May), marigolds (late April to late July), hydrangeas (early to late June), sunflowers (late July to late August), amaranths (around the end of August), and cosmos (early to mid-October) (the photo shows a Livingstone daisy).

You can interact with animals at the "Mini Zoo."

Each hut has a rabbit, a goat and a pony.

You can feed the rabbits and goats (food costs 100 yen). It's very cute to see the rabbits standing up to get food.

In addition to interacting with flowers and animals, there are also athletic facilities that children will love, the ever-popular long swings, four dining spots including a restaurant and a barbecue house, and souvenir shops.

You can also enjoy experiences such as pottery making and painting, so the whole family can have a great time for a whole day.

[Kashiwara, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City] Moo-Moo Land Aburayama Ranch

Momo Land Aburayama Ranch is a tourist ranch located at the foot of Mt. Aburayama, about 30 minutes by car from the center of Fukuoka city.

Admission is free. Parking is 300 yen for regular and mid-sized cars.

The ranch, which is surrounded by a relaxing landscape, is home to animals such as horses, cows, sheep, and goats.

Not only can you observe the animals, but there are also events where you can interact with them!

"Milking Experience" (100 yen per person, ages 4 and up) and "Horseback Riding Experience" (550 yen per lap, ages 4 and up) are held every day.

For both, you need to register at the general information desk. The event time and capacity are fixed, so be sure to check in advance and register early.

At the "Interactive Livestock Barn," you can experience "Feeding Goats and Sheep" (1 cup for 100 yen, up to 1 cup per person). This is held twice a day, at 10:00 and 14:00 (registration is in front of the "Interactive Livestock Barn").

You can also see ducks, chickens, and rabbits.

Besides interacting with animals, there is also a roller slide and a playground where you can play. It is a spot that the whole family can enjoy.

[Mitsuse Village, Saga City] Mitsuse Le Vert Farm Acorn Village

Mitsuse Le Vert Farm Acorn Village is about an hour's drive from Fukuoka city.

Admission fees are 300 yen for adults (high school students and above) on weekdays and 600 yen on weekends and holidays, 200 yen for children (ages 4 to junior high school students) on weekdays and 300 yen on weekends and holidays, and free for children under 3. Parking is free.

This tourist ranch is dotted across a vast expanse of grassland covering approximately 750,000 square meters, with horse stables and areas for small animals, a bakery, a souvenir shop, a winery, and a restaurant.

At the "Fureai Hiroba" (Fureai Square), goats and horses are raised on a hill with a great view.
