This time, we will introduce you to a notable complex facility that will be grand opening tomorrow, Sunday, October 15, 2023, along Fukuma Beach in Fukutsu City.

SUN EFFECT is a complex facility located in Nishifukuma 3-chome, Fukutsu City, overlooking Fukuma Beach.

During the pre-opening period from mid-July, the facility only offered BBQ on the outdoor terrace, but the grand opening will finally take place tomorrow, Sunday, October 15th! Now you can enjoy all the facilities, including the indoor restaurant and sauna.

[1st floor] A spacious café restaurant

On the first floor is a cafe restaurant where you can feel one with the sea.

The large glass windows allow you to enjoy the full view of Fukuma Beach right in front of you, and there is an open atrium that is over 7 meters high, making this a very open space.

Both the manager and the head chef have many years of experience working at the Hotel Okura Fukuoka. Although the restaurant has a casual atmosphere, it serves high-quality, reliable dishes.

Business hours are 11:30-20:00 (last order 19:30).

From 11:30 to 14:00 (last order 13:30), you can enjoy the "Lunch Set" (1,900 yen) which includes a choice of main dish and a salad buffet, and from 14:30 to 17:00, you can also enjoy the "Basket Afternoon Tea Set" (3,000 yen per person *available for two or more people), which is by reservation only and is limited to 20 people per day.

[2nd floor] Indoor private sauna with a view of the "Kagami no Umi"

On the second floor is a completely private indoor sauna with a view of the sea.

In addition to overlooking the ocean, there are plenty of attractions that are sure to satisfy even the most enthusiastic sauna enthusiasts, such as a cold bath that uses groundwater, the ability to do self-loyly, and a specially designed intake and exhaust system.

Business hours are 11:00-21:00.

It can be used by 1 to a maximum of 4 people ('90-minute sauna course' 5,800 yen for up to 2 people, plus 2,000 yen for each additional person; '120-minute sauna course' 7,600 yen for up to 2 people, plus 2,500 yen for each additional person).

Generally, reservations are required in advance, but if there is availability, you can sometimes use the "60-minute course" (2,000 yen per person, 2,000 yen for each additional person) available on the day. *If available, it will be announced on Instagram the day before (planned).

There is also a "120-minute sauna course (with sauna-only meal)" (11,200 yen for up to two people, +4,500 yen for each additional person)!

This set includes chicken pilaf and ice cream cake, perfect for a refreshing meal after getting ready.

[Terrace] Hosting BBQs and events

Ocean BBQs and various other events will be held on the outdoor terrace depending on the season.
